Do you have things you’ve filed away in the “maybe someday” pile? Do some of them come to mind again and again but you tell yourself you just don’t have the time, money or space in your life to make them a reality?
Most people have a long list of fulfilling projects and soul-nourishing fantasy trips that they keep putting on the back burner until they get X, Y and Z completed.
All too often, that day never comes. There is always something to demand your attention if you let it. The car needs fixing, the kids need braces, emails need to be read and the house would just fall apart if you weren’t there to tend to it, right?
If you’re waiting until there’s nothing else that could demand your attention before you’ll let yourself focus on your dreams, you’ll be dead before it happens. The secret to a fulfilling life is to dream big and to always make manifesting your dreams a high priority. Witness the lives of Steve Jobs and Stephen Covey.
In order to die having truly lived, begin living NOW, right this minute. Make a list of your great passions and pursue them with all your heart. Don’t let the distractions of life get in the way of what really matters to you.
Time is not a scarce resource. You have all the time you need for the things that matter. Your sole responsibility in each moment is to discern what matters most right now, focus and follow through. Tap into your deepest wisdom, trust your gut and move forward, in each moment, with confidence, peace and joy. You’re worth the effort.
